Description
Well this is another episode of Stitch and Experiments on Disney's One Saturday Morning that I have been waiting for! This episode is where Stitch, our favorite cute and fluffy alien and his Ohana make their own Looney Tunes cartoon for Lilo's animation class! Weird, ain't it? Anyways this also is a rainy day episode and I wanted to focus on them imagining them as Looney Tunes characters but I thought "Why let them just imagine themselves as those characters then just have them make their own cartoon!" This is the first time that Looney Tunes characters have appeared on ABC's Saturday Morning lineup in almost 20 years! I know that it would be impossible but if Disney could buy FOX, they could buy the WB or maybe it'll be the other way around! This is a commentary on how much Looney Tunes has changed even if the damn wiener kids don't even know these characters today! Well I couldn't find a picture of Stitch with the Looney Tunes characters but that gave me the idea to use Toons instead. Now this may not be like Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain or Freakazoid, in fact it may not even be like the original cartoons from way back when but it's just something that some people may not enjoy! (Yes I will still go to my grave insisting that The Looney Tunes Show was the best Looney Tunes project made in the last 10 years and that all its haters are just not getting the joke, moving on). This episode also introduces of to Chortle voiced by Jon Lovitz (doing Jay Sherman), as well as Twang and Bragg. Well let's enjoy the show!STITCH AND EXPERIMENTS S3E4 “IT’S RAINING TUNES”
INT STITCH’S ROOM AFTERNOON
IT’S RAINING OUTSIDE AND STITCH AND THE GANG ARE DEPRESSED ON WHAT THEY SHOULD DO FOR THE DAY WHILE BLIND MELON’S “NO RAIN” PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND
Sample: No, I think Madonna’s “Rain” would be more useful!
SAMPLE CHANGES THE SONG TO MADONNA’S “RAIN”
Stitch: It’s kind of no use, cousin. We’ve practically done everything we could think of!
Cannonball: We’ve watched every cartoon there is, read every book, played every board game and video game in the house, done every activity imaginable out of The Simpsons Rainy Day Fun Book and we still feel like we’ve been cheated out of fun!
Sparky: Well it feels like we should just find some way to kill time!
Stitch: Well we haven’t used our imagination yet!
Slushy: Well there’s so many things to imagine and we’ve tried all of them! Fighters, knights, secret agents, music stars, cartoon characters…
Stitch: Wait a minute, there’s one thing we haven’t imagined ourselves as yet, the Looney Tunes characters!
Angel: That would be a great idea!
Reuben: Wait a minute, Lilo has an assignment for her animation class by Mr Brandt and Mr Cervone to make a Looney Tunes cartoon!
Stitch: Well to quote Phineas Flynn, I know what we’re gonna do today! Make our own animated cartoon short!
Sparky: Do we know anything about cartoons?
Stitch: Well Toons does have a way to bring the cartoon characters to life but that would be cheating so let’s go make our own cartoon!
SPECIAL INTRO PLAYS WHERE IT PAYS HOMAGE TO THE INTRO TO “THE BUGS BUNNY SHOW” WHERE STITCH AND SPARKY ARE IN OUTFITS THAT BUGS BUNNY AND DAFFY DUCK WORE

TITLES ARE SHOWN WHILE JERRY GOLDSMITH’S VERSION OF “WHAT’S UP DOC” (BETTER KNOWN AS “WARNER BROS PICTURES) PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND
DISNEY’S STITCH AND EXPERIMENTS
Based upon the characters created by CHRIS SANDERS and DEAN DeBLOIS
Developed for television by CHRIS SANDERS DEAN DeBLOIS SCOTT RUDIN RICHARD RAYNIS FORD RILEY and HARRY SHOEMAKER
INT STITCH’S ROOM AFTERNOON
“IT’S RAINING TUNES”
STITCH AND THE GANG HAVE WRITTEN THEIR OWN LOONEY TUNES CARTOON
Evile: Rhetorical question, what makes those Looney Tunes so darn funny?
Reuben: They were probably the funniest cartoon shorts to ever grace the silver screen! They used a combination of animation, artistry, creativity and comedy! Treating it like a vaudeville show or a jazz band compared to a Disney cartoon’s classical music! Plus their other stuff is just as memorable!
Written by HARRY SHOEMAKER MIKE SHOEMAKER DOUG WALKER SPIKE BRANDT TONY CERVONE and JERRY BECK
Stitch: Well maybe not all of the stuff that Looney Tunes touched turned to gold…
Sparky: Space Jam is a big Nike commercial sent to theaters, Baby Looney Tunes is just a poor attempt to cash in on Muppet Babies or even Rugrats, Duck Dodgers while good is just Daffy as Zapp Brannigan and even Back in Action is Joe Dante’s attempt to recapture the Roger Rabbit magic but not doing a great job compared to the source material due to executive meddling! And the less said about Loonatics Unleashed the better!
Pleakley: What about The Looney Tunes Show?
Stitch: Probably the best one I’ve ever seen!
Directed by ERIC GOLDBERG BRUCE W SMITH VICTOR COOK and SPIKE BRANDT and TONY CERVONE
EXPERIMENT 318 AKA CHORTLE, A PURPLE EXPERIMENT DESIGNED TO MAKE JOKES COMMENTS
Chortle: Well if you’re a sucker for combining the Looney Tunes characters with stories you’d most likely find on Perfect Strangers, Seinfeld, Friends, The Simpsons, The Critic…
Sparky: I don’t think The Critic would qualify…
Stitch: Anyways Evile, we’re gonna be doing some recordings and Sparky will be providing the voices of Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck! (Speaking like Daffy) Although I could deliver a Daffy jutht like Mel Blanc did! (Speaking normally) Mel even did the lisp for Sylvester only sloppier! Heck if you remove the lisp, that’s the closest to Mel Blanc’s regular voice!
Sparky: Yeah, Mel Blanc did practically every single character in the Looney Tunes canon from 1937 to 1988!
Jumba: Although Arthur Q Bryan was Fudd, June Foray was Granny…
PLEAKLEY COMES IN WITH A LOLA BUNNY COSTUME
Pleakley: Kath Soucie was Lola…
Yin: I hate to burst your bubble but Lola wasn’t introduced until 1996’s Space Jam!
Chortle: And by that time, Mel Blanc was DEAD! Artists had to replace him like Billy West, Jeff Bergman, Greg Burson, Joe Alaskey, SO many to list!
Cannonball: Ahem! We’re about to record!
Bonnie: Okay, you know your lines!
Clyde: Visualize the characters in your head!
Pleakley: And ACTION!
THE EXPERIMENTS CLOSE THEIR EYES AND IMAGINE THE CARTOON IN THEIR HEADS
THE SCENE CHANGES TO SOMETHING OUT OF THE 1951 CARTOON “RABBIT FIRE” THE 1952 CARTOON “RABBIT SEASONING” OR THE 1953 CARTOON “DUCK RABBIT DUCK” WITH ELMER FUDD HUNTING FOR RABBITS
Elmer: SHH! Be vewy vewy quiet. I’m hunting wabbits! Huh huh huh huh huh!
ELMER SPOTS RABBIT TRACKS LEADING TO BUGS BUNNY’S RABBIT HOLE
Elmer: Oh boy! Wabbit twacks!
THE CAMERA PANS TO BUGS’S RABBIT HOLE WHERE DAFFY DUCK HAS SET THEM UP TO GET RID OF BUGS BUNNY ONCE AND FOR ALL
BUGS EXITS HIS RABBIT HOLE
BUGS NOTICES FUDD HAS POINTED HIS GUN IN FRONT OF HIS FACE
Bugs Bunny: Eh, (chomping on carrot) What’s Up, Doc?
Elmer: Say your pwayews wabbit! It’s Wabbit Season!
Bugs: Oh my, aren’t you an oily boid! It ain’t Rabbit Season! It’s Duck Season!
DAFFY STEPS IN ANGRY AS USUAL
Daffy Duck: Pardon me thir, that ith a fabricatthion of the truth! It ith definitely Rabbit Theathon!
Bugs: Duck Season!
Daffy: Rabbit Theathon!
Bugs: Duck Season!
Daffy: Rabbit Theathon!
Bugs: Rabbit Season!
Daffy: Duck Theathon!
Bugs: Rabbit Season!
Daffy: Duck Theathon!
Elmer: STOP! If you two don’t shut up, I’ww have to bwast both of you!
THE WHOLE THING COMES TO A HALT WHEN STITCH STEPS INTO THE PICTURE
Stitch: Hey, wait a minute! Hold on! Cut!
THE SCENE TRANSITIONS BACK TO STITCH’S ROOM
Stitch: Fudd would never do THAT!
Sparky: Well is the Warner Bros company keeping score here?
Stitch: Well naga! They wouldn’t let Bugs say “Meega Nala Kweesta” either!
Toons: Just give it time! A cartoon would usually take tons of hours and a couple of days to finish! Compare that to how Disney makes their animated feature films or how FOX makes one episode of The Simpsons!
Spats: It’s gotta go through storyboards, the animation process, the color has to be added, the sound effects need to be put in, the music has to be composed and everything has to come together in the editing room! Or wait a minute, editing comes very EARLY in animation. But still we’re going to do some final edits.
Stitch: Just to make sure, we’re making a good use of computers for digital ink and paint! The animation process will include rough drawings, clean up, visual effects, backgrounds and layout!
Sparky: And we’re not going to do any outsourcing to any foriegn animation company.
Reuben: I kind of like it when cartoons are made more inhouse.
Dupe: Aren’t you going to show Lilo?
Stitch: She’s off at the annual Wasp Mummies convention in Kokaua Town this weekend and so are her friends!
Gigi: She was nice to drop me off and yet I didn’t get my fur wet!
Sproing: Now who are we gonna show this to?
Stitch: How about the former big dummy known as Gantu?
COMMERCIAL BREAK
ACT II
INT STITCH’S ROOM DAY
GANTU HAS JOINED THE OHANA ON THEIR LOONEY TUNES PROJECT WHILE “YA BUGGIN’” PERFORMED BY BILLY WEST AS BUGS BUNNY PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND
Gantu: I would wonder why I would come here on such a dark and stormy weekend like this but when you guys were making a Looney Tunes cartoon to pass the time, my problems were whisked away!
Stitch: It’s much better than watching Hamsterviel hand and foot!
Gantu: Which is why I tied him up!
Reuben: We made the script and did the voices and now we’re doing the storyboards, that’s a visual comic strip.
Gantu: So which one is it? A Sylvester and Tweety cartoon?
Stitch: Nope.
Gantu: I’m kind of 50/50 on that, the slapstick is on par with Tom and Jerry but Tweety, he can be cute and a little bit irritating!
Dupe: Wait a minute, Tweety’s a guy? I thought Tweety was a girl!
Sample: Aren’t you a guy?
DUPE REALIZES THAT HE IS A GUY AND IS EMBARRASSED
Gantu: Maybe it’s a Tasmanian Devil cartoon! Or a Yosemite Sam cartoon!
Pop: I can give a Yosemite Sam impression perfectly! (imitating Sam) I’m calling you out you rabbit!
Gantu: That’s not Sam, he’s more like this! (Imitating Yosemite Sam) I’m Yosemite Sam and when I say “Woah” I mean “WOAAAHHH!”
Jumba: No no NO! In order to be Sam you have to act like Sam! (Imitates Yosemite Sam the best he can) I’M YOSEMITE SAM! THE ROUGHEST TOUGHEST HE-MAN STUFFENEST HOMBRE NORTH, SOUTH EAST AND WEST OF THE PECOS AND I’M CALLING YOU OUT YOU LONG EARED CARROT CHOMPING VARMINT! I HATES RABBITS!
Pleakley: Calm down, there’s no way to weasel every Looney Tunes character in one cartoon!
EXPERIMENT 148 AKA WEASEL A BROWN WEASEL-LIKE EXPERIMENT WHO IS ABLE TO GET INTO PLANETARY LEADERS’S PANTS IS ABOUT TO SPEAK
Weasel: Especially when there’s so many characters!
Squeak: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Road Runner, Wile E Coyote, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester and Tweety, Speedy Gonzales, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Taz, Pepe Le Pew, Lola Bunny, Pete Puma, Mac and Tosh, Michigan J Frog…
Stitch: Carrotblanca has the record for the most Looney Tunes characters in one cartoon!
Angel: But it’s just a Bugs and Daffy and Elmer hunting cartoon.
Sparky: However we went down a route where Fudd would never shoot Bugs and Daffy but we did do something that will resolve the ending.
Gantu: It also gives you a perspective on why those fulfillments of these characters… Do you mind if I do a Wile E Coyote impression?
Sparky: Go ahead.
Gantu (speaking like Wile E Coyote): It goes why we never see Sylvester successfully eat Tweety, why Marvin never successfully blew up Earth, why Porky always stutters, why Daffy Duck always gets the short end of the stick, why Wile E Coyote never successfully catches the Road Runner no matter how many Acme products backfire and why Bugs Bunny always comes out on top!
Reuben: But even then, Bugs didn’t ALWAYS win, because if he did it would be a predictable snoozefest aside from figuring out how he could get out of that jam!
Stitch: The times where Bugs DID lose were up against that turtle, that gremlin and even in a couple of episodes of The Looney Tunes Show where it was either a date with Lola where Lola would be a chatterbox or when some plan that he comes up with goes all Snafu!. (to Sanfu) No pun intended.
Reuben: Which reminds me, we’ve also been working on the ending and let’s say that it’ll be something that the original boys at Termite Terrace would be proud of!
Pleakley: What?
Bonnie: That’s the joint the cartoonists worked on for those cartoons from 1938 to 1955!
Clyde: Now we’ve got the storyboards done and now we have to draw them and color them and then put in the sounds, music and editing and bam! We’re done!
Nani: I had to come upstairs because I hate to be gone whenever an important event happens in this house and I heard gunshots, anvils falling, bombs and other acts of violence!
Chortle: Take it easy, we’re just making our own Looney Tunes cartoon for Lilo’s animation class!
Nani: Oh what a relief!
Heckler: What a maroon!
Nani: What?
Stitch: He was using one of Bugs Bunny’s catchphrases!

ACT III
INT STITCH’S ROOM
THE GANG ARE ALMOST DONE WITH THE CARTOON AS IT’S NOW IN THE FINAL PART OF THE PRODUCTION, THE EDITING ROOM
Stitch: Okay, the script is finished.
Sparky: The voices are done!
Reuben: The animation and color are done as well!
Sample: Not to mention the music!
EXPERIMENT 021 AKA TWANG A YELLOW LONG EARED CAT/RABBIT-LIKE EXPERIMENT IN HIS CUTE FORM RATHER THAN A GIANT TROLL-LIKE EXPERIMENT WHO IS ABLE TO PLAY SPECIAL INSTRUMENTS LIKE A FLUTE OR HARMONICA WHO IS ALSO A HIGHLY SKILLED ACTOR COMES IN FROM THE MUSIC COMPOSING
Twang: I hired the Richard Stone memorial orchestra to compose the cartoon’s score!
Shush: Aren’t you supposed to be Bragg?
Twang: Well Jumba was going to repurpose me but he couldn't resist me, besides, THAT is Bragg!
TWANG POINTS OUT TO EXPERIMENT 145 AKA BRAG WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE TWANG’S REAL FORM AND IS A GROUCHY AND CANTANKEROUS EXPERIMENT WHO IS BIGGER, STRONGER AND IS ABLE TO RETRACT HIS ARMS
Bragg: Yeah, I’m right here, brainiac! You have a problem with that?
Shush: No I don’t!
SLUSHY COMES OUT OF THE EDITING ROOM WITH THE FINISHED CARTOON
Slushy: The cartoon is done!
Stitch: Let’s watch it before…
Lilo: Before I get home?
LILO AND HER FRIENDS ARE BACK AND A DRAMATIC STING IS HEARD WITH A LIGHTNING STRIKE AND THUNDERCLAP
Lilo: So this is what you’ve been doing?
All Experiments: YES!
Keoni: You finished Lilo’s homework? Well at least that’s good!
Jumba: Now time to view 626’s cartoon!
LILO AND HER OHANA SIT IN THE THEATER SHOWING THE CARTOON
Lilo: Well this better be good!
Yuki: It better be! We’ve been seeing a lot of crazy cartoons!
Elmer: SHH! Be vewy vewy quiet. I’m hunting wabbits! Huh huh huh huh huh!
Sparky: I used my impression of Fudd since I do sound like Billy West!
Stitch: Plus we’ve also spliced in some audio of Joe Alaskey, Jeff Bergman, Greg Burson and Mel Blanc himself!
Bugs: (now voiced by Mel Blanc) Duck Season!
Daffy (voiced by Blanc): Rabbit Theathon!
Bugs (voiced by Jeff Bergman): Duck Season!
Daffy (voiced by Bergman): Rabbit Theathon!
Bugs (voiced by Greg Burson): Duck Season!
Daffy (voiced by Joe Alaskey): Rabbit Theathon!
Bugs (voiced by Alaskey): Rabbit Season!
Daffy (voiced by Alaskey) Duck Theathon!
Bugs (voiced by Sparky or Billy West): Rabbit Season!
Daffy (voiced by Sparky or Billy West): Duck Theathon!
Bugs: Rabbit Season!
Daffy: Duck Theathon!
Elmer: STOP! If you two don’t shut up, I’ww have to bwast both of you!
THE CARTOON ON SCREEN NOW HAS FUDD PREPARING TO SHOOT BOTH BUGS AND DAFFY
Bugs: Yikes!
Daffy: Mother!
FUDD SHOOTS BUGS AND DAFFY WITH HIS SHOTGUN AND THERE’S A PUFF OF SMOKE
Lilo: Oh my goodness! Elmer Fudd would NEVER do that!
Stitch: Don’t worry, it’ll resolve itself.
THE CARTOON NOW HAS FUDD DEALING WITH BUGS AND DAFFY ABOUT TO DIE
Elmer: Oh no! What have I done?! Aww my yeaws of hunting fow spowt have come to this and now I feew wike I’ve been cheated!
BUGS AND DAFFY GRAB FUDD BY THE CHIN
Bugs: Doc, before we go, there’s something we would like to say!
Elmer: What is it?
Bugs and Daffy: PUCKER UP!
BUGS AND DAFFY BOTH KISS FUDD IN THE FACE AND THEN FUDD IS FLABBERGASTED AT THE FACT THAT THEY’RE STILL ALIVE
Elmer: Oh you scwewy wabbit and you scwewbaww duck! I’ww bwast you!
FUDD PULLS THE TRIGGER BUT THEN FEELS LIKE THE GUN IS OUT OF BULLETS BUT THEN LOOKS AT IT AND THEN A BIG BULLET BLOWS HIM UP IN THE FACE WHILE BUGS AND DAFFY RUN AWAY
Bugs: Ain’t we a bunch of stinkers?
Daffy: WOO HOO! WOO HOO! WOO HOO!
THE CARTOON ENDS WITH AN IRIS OUT SOUND EFFECT
LILO AND HER FRIENDS LAUGH
Stitch: I knew I shouldn’t have made this!
Lilo: Stitch, we’re laughing at it but for a completely different reason!
Mertle: This is the funniest cartoon I’ve seen in my life!
Elena: And that’s saying something!
Teresa: Last week we’ve been watching the best Looney Tunes cartoons!
Yuki: And even then we’ve been watching all 1,000 plus Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons to prepare!
Victoria: This makes What’s Opera Doc look like See Ya Later Gladiator!
Stitch: You mean you like it?!
Lilo, Keoni, Mertle, James, Elena, Teresa, Yuki, Douglas, Victoria and Danny: WE LOVE IT!
A TRIUMPHANT VERSION OF “THE MERRY GO ROUND BROKE DOWN” PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE THE SKY FINALLY CLEARS UP
Stitch: BOOYAH! WE DID IT!
Gantu: I have to show this to the Grand Councilwoman!
INT TOM SCHUMACHER HIGH
LILO’S ANIMATION CLASS HAS FINISHED WATCHING THE CARTOON THAT STITCH AND THE GANG HAVE MADE
Mr Brandt: That was the funniest and freshest version of the Fudd cartoon that I have ever seen!
Mr Cervone: I hope you gave credit where credit was due!
Lilo: Yes I did!
Mr Brandt: You get an A+!
Lilo: YES!
STITCH AND THE GANG ARE THERE ALONG WITH THE GRAND COUNCILWOMAN
Grand Councilwoman: That cartoon was the funniest thing I have ever seen!
Stitch: It was nothing!
Grand Councilwoman: Although could Morpholomew do something for me?
Morpholomew: What is it?
Grand Councilwoman: Well (she whispers something unintelligible)
Morpholomew: You want me to morph into Porky Pig?
JAMES NEWTON HOWARD’S VERSION OF “MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG” PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND
Morpholomew: Well I could because I do the most top notch impression of Porky next to Bob Bergen!
MORPHOLOMEW MORPHS INTO PORKY AND HE STANDS IN FRONT OF THE STANDARD LOONEY TUNES RINGS
Morpholomew/Porky: Th-Th-Th-That’s All Folks!

It's just a reference to Looney Tunes which this episode has Stitch and the gang talking about. The title "It's Raining Tunes" is a triple reference to a rainy day, the Looney Tunes characters and Homer Simpson's favorite song "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls.

Oh, that! Well he is able to not only make animation come to life but also make two dimensional images on paper real. I used him for the preview image because I couldn't find a single good drawing of Stitch with the Looney Tunes gang so I settled on Toons. Are you happy?

Well I don't wanna give her Lola Loud again so maybe Lola mixed with Tootie but no Wubbzy. By the way for Bragg I'm using Mayim Bialik doing Kurst the Worst from Recess, Weasel will be Rob Paulsen doing Raph from the 80s Ninja Turtles, Mr Brandt is Michael Reiz doing Takuya from Digimon Frontier, Mr Cervone is Michael Bell doing Drew Pickles and Chortle is Jon Lovitz doing Jay Sherman from "The Critic".
