Description Well here's today's newest Stitch and Experiments episode where despite the title this is not a Pulp Fiction themed episode.  It just an episode where Lilo gets sued by Stacy Edmonds over her upcoming movie which is in itself similar to the new movie Onward.  This also features Gary Cole and Mills Lane and well here it is!

STITCH AND EXPERIMENTS S3E11 “PULP FAN FICTION”

INT STITCH’S ROOM

STITCH IS CHECKING OUT ALL THE FANFICTION OF EVERYTHING ONLINE WHILE SAMPLE PLAYS MICHAEL JACKSON’S “BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR”

Stitch:  One has Biff Tannen killed in 1955!  Another has Ranma as a Batman superheroine!  Another is a Little Mermaid 1989 AU story!

Sparky:  I’m telling you that the information superhighway has a fan made story about EVERYTHING!

Percy:  There’s a fanfic that’s like “The Good Dinosaur” but better!

Retro:  I kind of have a soft spot for that movie!

Angel:  Lilo is even writing a fanfic as she speaks!

Lilo:  I’m finished!  It's a fantasy story set in modern times!

Mertle:  Lilo, how are the reviews?

Lilo (reads the review):  Your story is similar to the upcoming motion picture I am producing… So similar that I call plagiarization.  From “SEdmonds”?

Mertle:  That could be my aunt Stacy!

SAMPLE STOPS THE MUSIC

Stitch:  We’re getting in legal trouble!

Guilttrip:  What made you think so?

(STITCH AND EXPERIMENTS INTRO PLAYING)
Stitch:  Tooki Bah Wah Bah!

Stitch:  Come on, come on.

I’m an alien experiment number 626
I’m smart mischievous cute and fluffy
All rolled up in one package, isn’t that lovely!
I got a lot of cousins in one big “Ohana”
Helping out each other just in case we wanna
Lilo’s got my back whenever danger would attack
And I’ve got strength in numbers and that’s a fact!
Everyone is like a brother or a sister!
Even when you’re gone I’m not gonna miss ya!
If you don’t like it then Meega Nala Kweesta!
That’s Tantalog for kiss my keister!

INT STITCH’S ROOM

LILO IS CONFUSED ABOUT HER FANFIC AND BEING SUED BY STACY EDMONDS

“PULP FAN FICTION”

Nani:  At least I’m here to witness this!  Lilo is getting sued by Mertle’s crazy aunt!

Lilo:  What does she have?

Written by LAUREN TOM MARY JO PHEL HARRY SHOEMAKER

Mertle:  Only the best lawyers this side of Disney!

Victoria:  Only we have some defense!

Lilo:  Yeah, it’s over 600 representatives!

Stitch:  You know Lilo your story sounds similar to the new Pixar movie “Onward”.

Directed by TOM SITO RICHARD RAYNIS MATTHEW O’CALLAGHAN CHUCK SHEETZ

Lilo:  You know, I wrote this before that was announced!  Maybe we should tell her right away!

Angel:  Actually if I’ve seen trial episodes on TV we should wait until the end, probably when the Recess is over!

Bonnie:  At least we’re not on trial!

Clyde:  We’re defending Lilo!

David:  So which experiments are coming to the court?

All experiments:  ALL OF US!

Cooler:  Kind of bogus!

Mrs Edmonds:  I think that the trial will be in Honolulu next week!  I’ll be sued into the dark ages!

Lilo:  Actually, we do have an ace up our sleeve but we’re not going to do it from the get-go!

Mrs Edmonds:  Huh?

Mertle:  Stacy’s idea, as well as Lilo’s fanfic are both inspired by the upcoming Disney/Pixar film “Onward” coming to theaters everywhere March 6 2020!

Whine:  It’ll bomb like Cars 2!

Jumba:  No, it hasn’t been released yet!

Pleakley:  At least our friendship is put on the ultimate test!

Mertle:  Okay, if we win this case you’re still my friend until the end of time!  If Stacy wins our friendship is over!

Lilo:  I hope that we win because I wouldn’t want to break up a part of our Ohana!

Stitch:  As we have reiterated, Ohana means nobody gets left behind!

INT HONOLULU COURTHOUSE THE NEXT WEEK

REGIS, KATHIE LEE AND KELLY ARE REPORTING THE EVENT

Regis:  I’m Regis along with Kathie Lee and Kelly for the people vs the other people!

Kathie Lee:  That’s not the case but it’ll do!

Kelly:  Now the defendant, Lilo along with her Ohana are coming into the court.

Kathie Lee:  Now the plaintiff, Stacy Edmonds and her daughter Daria are coming into the court.

Regis:  And now the judge is coming into the ring.

Keoni:  Who is it?  Wopner?  No, he’s dead.  Judge Judy?  No, she’s busy.  Judge Dredd?  No, he’s fictional.

Ballif:  Hear ye, hear ye.  All rise for the honorable judge Mills Lane!

MILLS LANE COMES OUT

Lilo:  Mills Lane?!  The ref on Celebrity Deathmatch?!

Mills Lane:  Well you recognized me from that MTV cartoon so I’ll allow it!

Stacy:  This is going to be easy!

Mrs Edmonds:  I don’t think so!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

ACT II

INT HONOLULU COURTHOUSE

GARY SCHARNDLER IS LILO’S LAWYER

Gary:  Gary Scharndler attorney at law!

Lilo:  You sound like Gary Cole!

Nani:  Gary Cole?  He’s not a lawyer!

Mrs Edmonds:  But he plays one on TV!

MILLS BANGS HIS GAVEL

Mills Lane:  ORDER IN THE COURT!  Now I heard your complaint so I want a good clean trial!  No insane conclusions, no insanity pleas, no leaving until the verdict is reached!  LET’S GET IT ON!

Stacy:  Your honor, I would like to prove that my niece’s friend is guilty of plagiarism for using my idea for my upcoming movie!

Gary:  I object!  I don’t even know what this movie is about!

Stacy:  I call my daughter Daria to the stand!

Daria:  It is about a bunch of fantasy creatures living in modern times.

Gary:  Isn’t that…

Lilo:  Similar to my fanfic?  Yes.  But I didn’t know that Stacy did this.

Stitch:  Can I call this?

Lilo:  Not now!

Mertle:  Your honor…

Mills Lane:  Just call me Mills, I’ll allow it!

Mertle:  Mills, I would like to say that Lilo would be a thief but I used to despise her when I was a young girl.  Now we’ve grown up and set aside our differences.  Is there anybody who believes me?

MERTLE’S FATHER KARL EDMONDS IS THERE ON THE JURY

Karl:  I do, sweetie!

Mertle:  Dad?

Mrs Edmonds:  Karl?

Daria:  Uncle Karl?

Nani:  Mr Edmonds is here?

Gary:  Didn't he leave you!

Mertle:  That person is my father, you should be ashamed!

Gary:  If that person is your father YOU should be ashamed!

Mertle:  Cut it out Groucho Marx!

Mills Lane:  SHUT UP OR I’LL PUT YOU IN A HEADLOCK!

MONTAGE OF ALL THE OTHERS TALKING ABOUT THE EXISTENCE OF THE STORY

Mills Lane:  Okay, we’ll call a Recess and then we’ll resume court!

THE BREAK STARTS TO TAKE PLACE

Gary:  We’ll we’re in trouble!

Lilo (thinking):  Well it’s time to bring out the big guns!  Say Mr Scharndler, have you checked out Disney’s newest movies including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Fox for the 2020 year?

Gary:  No.

Stitch:  Well there’s a new Mulan remake and a Black Widow movie both coming out in the Summer and a new Pixar movie known as “Onward”.

STITCH HANDS GARY HIS PHONE WITH THE TRAILER FOR “ONWARD” AND GARY SEES THE SIMILARITIES TO STACY’S MOVIE

Gary:  Oh my goodness, this could be the break in the case we’ve been waiting for!

Cannonball:  Judge Lane is coming back!

Mills Lane:  Okay, does Mr Scharndler have something to say?

Gary:  Yes I do your honor only I don’t have to say it, Stitch does.

Stitch:  Thank you.  Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury, although Stacy does say that she came up with the story, it is actually similar to the new Disney and Pixar film “Onward”!

Sparky:  Plus we’ve been doing some online research that the movie was first developed in 2017 WAY BEFORE Stacy announced HER version!

THE CROWD GASPS

COMMERCIAL BREAK

ACT III

INT HONOLULU COURTHOUSE

THE CASE IS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH WHEN STACY’S STORY WAS STOLEN FROM “ONWARD”

Stacy:  I have never heard of Pixar…

FIBBER BUZZES

Lilo:  There is a letter from Pixar’s former boss John Lassetter that paraphrases Pulp Fiction which was released by Miramax which Disney owned as well.  Mertle, why don’t you take it from here?

WHEN MERTLE SPEAKS THE MUSIC “MISIRLOU” BY DICK DALE PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND

Mertle:  “If you steal any of our ideas you will be in big trouble and I shall strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger!  And you will KNOW my name is the LORD WHEN I LAY MY VENGEANCE UPON THEE!”

Gary:  So Stacy did you steal from Pixar?

Stacy:  Not every idea was original…

Mrs Edmonds:  We want the truth!

Stacy:  You want the truth?!  YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Mills Lane:  If I had a dollar for every time I heard that I would put my foot of justice far up your…

Stacy:  OKAY!  I STOLE FROM PIXAR!  But animation is built upon plagiarism!  If nobody plagiarized The Thief and the Cobbler we wouldn’t have Aladdin!  If somebody didn’t rip off A Bug’s Life, there would be no Antz!  The Flintstones, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy?!  HA!  The Honeymooners, Married with Children, Andy Griffith, All in the Family!  But if I steal from Disney I will be in a wreck!  I’m sorry Mariah, please forgive me!

Mrs Edmonds:  I don’t know about that…

TIME PASSES AS THE JURY REACHES THEIR VERDICT

Mills Lane:  Alright jury have you reached a verdict?

Karl:  Yes we have your honor!  We find the defendant Lilo Pelekai innocent and Stacy Edmonds guilty!

Lilo:  YES!

Mertle:  My friendship is safe with you!

AFTERMATH IS NARRATED WHILE THE THEME FROM DRAGNET PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND

Narrator:  After the trial Stacy Edmonds would try to apologize to Disney and Pixar for stealing their content.  Karl Edmonds and Mariah Edmonds would try to get re-married but Karl was late for a flight to Anaheim, however they would eventually end up together again in holy matrimony.  Lilo Pelekai and Mertle Edmonds started up their own studio called “Ohana Entertainment”, the Hawaiian equivalent of Steven Spielberg’s Amblin, slowly but surely turning Kokaua Town into another Hollywood with several directors making movies as well as Lilo’s ohana.  Everything you have seen was fictional, not many names were changed because they wanted to protect the innocence of youth!

What kind of rock have you been living under?  The short answer is Dragnet is a classic series about LAPD detectives solving crimes.  The long answer lies in this wikipedia article.  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragnet_…  The end of this episode is a spoof of when Dragnet episodes end with a wrap up and the phrase "Everything you seen was real, the names were changed to protect the innocent."  Otherwise I think you were grateful that I got to use something from "Onward" BEFORE it was released onto the big screen!  The next episode of this show is a Christmas episode where Gantu is Santa Claus to settle a bet with his brother Mantu voiced by Kevin Clash who I'm not using his Elmo voice but rather his Clifford voice from Muppets Tonight because Clash also did the puppetry and voice for Clifford and I like him better in that voice!
