Description
NASA found a much better alternative to using a space shuttle to get astronauts and cosmonauts to and back from the International Space Station.Hana, who else. ^_^

Problem: Unless she lifted her hand excruciatingly slowly, the cosmonauts would experience high G-levels on ascent, resulting in their deaths before they arrive at the ISS. Thing is too, she'd have to lift her hand about an Earth day before the ISS came into view, and get out of the way as well, otherwise it'd run into her arm and fall out of orbit.
With those problems, I'd say the Soyuz vehicle is a much safer and more reliable option after all.
EDIT: also, where would she put her feet? In the ocean, massive water displacement=tsunamis.

There was one fic where the giantess had a sort of power field around them, making them invulnerable to most weapons as well as supplying the energy necessary for survival and growth. It could work similarly here, extending it slightly so protect where she stands and the cosmonauts
