Happy Fan Art Friday everybody!! This piece is based on my favorite book - The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery. I really wish the colors would have scanned a little better, this piece positively glows in person.Watercolor, gold gel pen, and sepia fineliners on Fluid hot press paper.
The original piece is 6"x8" and will stay in my studio

Your composition combines various visual themes from the book in an elegant manner. The fox holding the rose is an especially touching portrayal, and the geometric division of the background is an appealing design.

But not everybody read it and moreover not everybody is sensitive to the poetry of this book!
