Description
The very old picture frames got out from my grandfathers' ancient photograph box.White borders on each of them, for sticking photos probably.Months ago I had painted their backgrounds and forgot about them.As a result of trying to gain courage for a big oil painting, I made these little creatures with oilcolour for motivation for the huge painting. Now I like these very much, but still staring at the huge canvas, maybe some people are better with small sizes...Check out the [link] to see how the complete microfish trios look with their frames!

That is the horror vacui, the fear to destroy that clean white canvas, Do not worry you can paint it white again, go on do the first line and every line following will be easier!!!

You are right about the canvas. It was also the size that scared me first.By the way after making these tiny things the big one started to look a more reasonable surface for painting really! All those old masters should have been right : )))

So go on filling it with colour think about details later
Think big and work freely!!! Why shouldn't it work on large formats, from some distance they will look small
