Description
TWO YEARS AGO“Get. Out.” Ash’s voice was harsh. Of course it was.
“L-love, let’s not be hasty! This is a misunderstanding, I promise, he’s just–” Rivers tried desperately to come up with an excuse but he was cut short.
“Don’t. Just get out.” The initial outward anger was gone, replaced by a stone cold wall.
Kai cowered behind Rivers, trying not to make eye contact. He didn’t know he was married!
“Riv, you said you were house-sitting.” He hissed, which earned him a swift kick to the side and a head shake from the deer in question.
Ash’s gaze shifted from his husband to the pony hiding behind him. “House-sitting? What, the happy family pictures on the wall weren’t enough of a hint?”
He took a moment to look around and sure enough, many family pictures lined the walls of their house. Oh, this was bad. He didn’t want to be a homewrecker!
None of them spoke for a good while.
“I guess all those years together meant nothing to you. Dart means nothing to you. We mean nothing to you.” Ash brushed some stray hair out of his face.
“You may say goodbye to him, and we will figure out the rest later. You can collect your things next week. Get out.”
