Character Overview:
Anke is the human form of a Kar98K made from American Seqouia tree and German Metal parts. She was used in WW2 but disappeared during the battle of Berlin until her new Master Sire or Sebastian found her. THough she has no memory of WW2 due to a memory block. She is a kind and loving person that enjoys people also she can act a bit modest. Her favorite food includes German food and American Food. She is a bit of a realist but is a very soft person. She looks like a a mx of a caucasian and a Native American person. Her favorite video game is "Final Fantasy 7"

"If" she had one? Haha. She collects guns. She's as big on modern weapons as Kay is medieval ones. I've jokingly called her "vampire Homura" before.

I don't have anything against swords, but it just seems silly to me to idealize a sharpened piece of metal.

Agreed. The sword is a pretty metal stick. While a gun is a weapon that throws many rocks.

It think people want to karken back to the old days of cutting each other to pieces. But the rifle is lets say to impersonal. To me though its efficient and what can I say they are very pretty.

There is something to be said about how in the old days, it was harder to kill someone. You couldn't "accidentally" do it without training. But to me, there's something uncivilized and brutal about melee weapons. At the very least, they're extremely messy too.

Though I do think one has to be careful about idealizing guns. At the end of the day, all weapons may be tools, but they're tools with one function -- to wound or kill. You can practice them on targets and have a shooting "hobby", but their primary job is to wound or kill.

I kind of like characters like yours because it sounds like she's confronting that. Or that she wants to be something more than a weapon. It's no wonder she likes FF7.

Well she has to her former master used her in the Eastern front in attrocites, the most infamous is in Babi Yar. Even fighting in combat with the Wiking SS and Totenkopf SS. But the master was a cruel person that treated her as such and after the war she wiped her own memories. Now reawakened with no memories she is trying to find something more than just death and destruction her past masters lay.
