Yay! 1st artwork this November. I knew I could pull it off. I've been very busy this month. Fortunately, I had the time to make an artwork.December is fast approaching. Hopefully, I could submit an artwork or two.

Looks pretty good! Got the hair down pat, excellent job on the clothing. . . but what bugs me is that vignette around the edges, wouldn't you say it kinda dulls the picture?

Thanks for praising out the good parts. I feel motivated with it. I agree with you. The picture is kind of dull. My primary intention for the vignette was to fix the exposure. But I guess fixing it backfired. What would have I done to make the picture better?

I think I may have said that a bit too strongly, you don't have to do this if you're happy with it.
What I'd do is toss the vignette altogether and make the background darker to make her stand out. Perhaps make the shadows on her blue dress a little purple-y. . . or just a deeper blue, something that would give a lotta OOMPH to it. Just a few ideas anyway.

I took another look at it her arm and hand is kinda foreshortened oddly. .I'm not sure how to correct it, since I'm still working on doing things like that myself. Her foremost leg could be shortened up a bit, its a wee bit too long. That pose looks difficult so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Aside from what you have mentioned. I was thinking of overall posture and cloth physics as a contributing factor. Aside from foreshortening,I'll have to practice balance and force.
