She looks like a vampire, but I don't want to assume she is, and put her in my "Cute Vampire Stuff" folder. So, I must ask, is she a vampire?
If she is, then her charm went from 10.5 stars to 13.5 stars. (out of 10)

omg I love it!
The pink/purple color scheme works well, especially with her skin tone.
I love the buttons~ Especially on the detached sleeves.
Also the hood. I love the shape, looks good on her!
The only criticism I have is that the frills on the sleeves and coat are kind of... bland. It might be because they have no depth? I dunno, my brain can't figure them out

Thanks for the criticism though even if you don't mention it I exactly know the error and I'm going to explain it to you. The reason why the frills on the sleeves and coat feel bland is because of these factors: First is that the frills does not go with the natural flow of the garment. The spaces in between the frills are too uniform that it causes the viewer to bored looking at it. It makes the frills look symmetrical rather than asymmetrical. And having a symmetrical work is a "no no" to any kind of artist. Secondly, it lacks a way to break the pattern of the frills thereby causing it to look stiff and rigid. Finally, it lacks dimension as it was not able to tell how thick or thin the frill is.
This error occurred because I entered a situation called "The Monkey House". This event occurs when the artist suddenly feels weariness because of long hours of working on an artwork without taking breaks. It causes the artist to be unable to detect errors on his/her artwork. Yesterday, I made to artworks. It happened that Mirlyn was the most difficult to design because of the number of details to be placed. Three hours into the process, I got tired and this is when the error was not checked. And since I got far in making the artwork, I just ignored the error and proceeded in the coloring phase.
Lesson learned: "Take breaks when making artworks"
Nevertheless, thanks for sharing an honest perception. I cannot deny the truth of what you are seeing. If you tell this to other artist with a closed mind, he/she might have trolled you already.

Oh geez, sorry I didn't say thanks for this earlier! Thank-you!
I can so relate to the monkey house feeling. That's uh... almost a 24 hour feeling for me these days, haha
I made those remarks on the work because I know that being honest is helpful, and you felt like the sort of person who wouldn't take a critique as a personal attack.

I've been planning to do this for a very long time. It's a good thing I have plenty of time now

(The grey hair is in particular a nice touch since it nods to her experience before being transformed into an undead child, though at first glance the style made me think of Patchouli)

*nods* Her design was always a bit hard for me to decide on. But I did know she was very much a true mage and for her design to be very cute. Her magic is more reliable to her than her vampire powers.
I also like how you made her feel sophisticated while being lighthearted. Like you can sort of see that she wasn't originally a child if you look for it.
