Description Pencils by Nigel Kitching. Inks and colour by me.

Nigel sent me the pencils for a page he's been drawing for STC online and I had a go on this panel just for my own amusement (and to avoid doing 'roper' work).

This is a very exciting way of colouring this kind of drawing. It would be very easy to do it more simply (like you have with the Minnie the Minx pic) and nobody would mind, but here you've really brought out the shapes in a way I wasn't expecting. Great work.

Thought I'd experiment a little. I'm quite pleased with the texture in it.

Haha... I feel like the silly script I wrote for that page is quite undeserving of the incredible work you two have done with it. Seriously, brilliant. Thanks, Nigels! (Thigels.)

Is Thigel something you'd treat cellulite with?

It's actually a cunning reference to the closing comments to each edition of Look Around You, which I've been watching a lot of lately. eg "Thanks ants... thants."

I loved Look Around You. Specially that woman out of Green Wing.

He clearly needs to shop at Broadbros.com
Never out of fashion the hunchback, although to be fair the middle ages was their hayday.

This place is turning into hunchback city.

Hmm... I see a possible project emerging.

You need to start drawing little hunchback kiddies or even hunchback cats and dogs.
You could even have a superhero group of hunchbacks, they don't have any powers they just like wearing the capes because it covers up the hump.
You could have HUNCHTIME when everybody with a hump goes on a break ( I'm starving anyone for hunch? )
Lots of puns like "I'm glad to see the BACK of him" or "I'm BACK.....or at least most of me is"
I love it already!
