I went back to the design and started beefing up all the tabs on the neck to hold that kinda weight and as I looked at the tabs on the upper section I thought they looked wrong and after a couple minutes of physics crap, I determined the load issue with the saucer was going to apply upward force on the top tabs and downward force on the bottom.The bottom tabs on the neck were fine for the "down force" but the tabs on the top of the neck were useless against the "upward force" and as such, a major problem.
So after beefing the tabs on the bottom of the neck I removed the tabs on the top and went back to the saucer top were I added in new tabs to mate with the neck.
Then I started thinking again and decided to add in some additional, cantilever support and the saucer bridge girder came to mind.
