I have added some new features on USS Paul Dirac's primary hull, either side of the impulse engines. These were suggested by BigTallDude, see comments.deviantart.com/1/3845… . At first I thought maybe just some extra hull markings would be enough, but eventually I realised he was right, it needed something more significant,The new features could be vents or grills, or perhaps radiators for bleeding off excess heat from the engines (by 'radiators' I mean things that actually radiate, not the convection heaters that people call radiators). I may add some small hull markings beside them, I haven't decided yet.
I have also remodelled the back end of the secondary hull slightly, to make it less rounded. It just didn't quite work as it was.

Very practical-looking. How far into the underside of the saucer does the cutaway extend? If you're looking to add markings more subtle than the hazard-tape around the rear torpedo launchers have you considered making the area of the sectors in which the radiators are located a similar colour to the big arrows found under the ToS enterprise saucer? I'm only talking about the outer bit, on the d/l image, the bit onf the portside of saucer that runs approximately from px 920x254 to 1029x280. For close-ups, possibly put on a warning message;
"WARNING! DANGER OF IMMOLATION BY PLASMA DISCHARGE!"

The cutaway doesn't extend too far on the underside, I will post an image of it once I have sorted out the markings.
I agree that the markings should be more subtle than the black/yellow warning marks I have elsewhere, but I think I am going to try doing them in plain yellow. I've done an experiment and I think it will work OK. I will have to think about the idea of a warning message.

I am going to put some markings at the sides and corners, much as you suggest, but in plain yellow to begin with. If they aren't good enough, then I will try something more fancy.
