Focused on background on this one, obviously. Toilets are harder to draw than I thought
And I played some with textures in photoshop!

Haha. Henry's been rejected! I remember there being some weird connection between Henry and Heather by some fans, though I think it's just their wishful thinking (and the fact that the games take place in the closest time intervals).
I really like this as a picture as well, though without the text I think it wouldn't be nearly as funny. While I'm on that topic, I think you did an exceedingly good job with the background. The gritty, grungy, blood, unclean feeling that is "Silent Hill" shows very clearly.
Out of curiosity, but did you use any brushes for your fanart? Because I've been trying to find Photoshop brushes that have a "Silent Hill"-ish texture for a while now, and I can't find any.
Anyway, I couldn't see what kind of textures you were using until I took a closer look at it (Heather's orange wrist-warmers, for example). I think you drew her hands pretty well in this picture, considering that hands are like the bane of my existence (everything else is fine with me, but--oh my god--HANDS). I like how you even got in her wristwatch. No detail gets by you, don't it?

Actually I didn't use brushes for this. I've been looking for Silent Hill brushes as well.
Only used that pattern overlay thingy option.. been a while since I worked with Photoshop so I was pretty much just messing around.
I really need more of a system while coloring, right now it's just messy.
If you find any good SH brushes let me know! And I will do the same

As for the connection.... I'm not sure. I just find it funny that people seem to put Henry and Heather's story so close together.
For example, Taking Back Sunday made a music video using Henry in Heather's apartment for some reason. I'm not sure if they played the games, though, other than just saying "It is SCARY." *Rolleyes.*
The fact that the first lines in both games from our two protagonists are "What a nightmare/dream" is funny.
If I find anything, I'll let you know. I'm trying to find some Silent Hillish grunge brushes, myself, although I think I've found some cracks brushes for the background that, depending on how well you combine them, make the image look very close to the games' milieu. Texture is also a handy tool if you're using Photoshop like I am, especially when you're doing walls.
Hands are a bitch. I have a hard time transferring the things I see by eye on paper, and people keep saying I should use a reference of my hand. That doesn't always work right. As a matter of fact, most of the times it ends up worse when I do that. So I'm never going to nag at you about it. You do them better than I can.
