A real quick sketch done up in Copic grays and quick colour tweaking in Photoshop. I just saw a bunch of Rogue and Gambit wedding drawings in a Deviantart community and just had to join in the fun!Related content

It took years (too many) for it to finally happen, but they are now officially married (X-Men Gold #30 2018).

That's BS. In the old comics and the animated series, they clearly loved each other. The many times Rogue wanted to kiss Gambit but couldn't because she would suck all the life out of him? Yet Gambit stayed by her side even though he knew he couldn't touch her? I would say that is sweet and powerful. Forget what happened recently, because after Claremont and Jim Lee left, everything went down the toilet. The idiot new writers have even thought of killing off Wolverine for God's sake -.- Has Gambit and Rogue's relationship Β set sail now? Yes. I support this couple but even I have to admit they've had their time. Cyclops and Jean's relationship was badly messed up as well. However many liked Gambit and Rogue in their early days. Was their relationship well managed in the very early days? YES. They may not be such a good couple now but back then they had a great relationship.

It was at the beginning of their relationship in one of the first volumes of X-men Vol.2. Rogue and Gambit had picnic, she baked a boisenberry pie for him, but then Bishop (suspicious of Gambit) interfered and the pie accidentally ended on Rogue's face
