Fan art of Ty Lee and a fat bird.Among the Fire Nation girls, I like Ty Lee the most. Her sunny disposition is endearing, and I find her somewhat intriguing. She obviously comes from an important family in the Fire Nation, and yet we find her working/ performing in a circus. Why is she not with her family? How did she meet Azula, and become friends with her? I'd like think that behind that smiling face there is something more. Hopefully we'll find out more about her in season 3!
I kinda wonked up her face in this one (made her eyes too big), and I wish the pose is a bit better, but I'm just too tired now and probably won't change anything on this piece. Consider this a colouring practice! he he he.

hahah yes we do. although i wish i can see a bit more! Like the motivation to run away from home because she 'looks similar to her sisters' are a bit ...shallow for me? Just my opinion though. I still like her lots XD

Exactly, although I'm thinking that maybe that was on purpose, to only give us a little info, maybe they want us to come up with the reason? Iono, I still wish there was a little more, but I guess...be glad with what we got xD

Yeah I guess it could be up to our own interpretation (that's what fan fics and fan arts are for, I guess?? haha)
I cannot even begin to imagine what possum chicken would taste like. a cross between the two flavours would probably blow my mind!

I think she has a little of the "Duo Maxwell" complex, we just haven't seen her "Shinigami" side. In many ways, I think Mai *has* a goodness in her....And Ty Lee DOESN'T. I am ALWAYS suspicious of the most friendly people. They always have the darkest sides and have the most skeletons in their closets.....

hahaah I think the opposite though! I feel that Ty Lee isn't necessarily nice but she IS cheerful and optimistic, which I like. And I think she does TRY to be nice. Which is different from people who are nice for an ulterior motive. Mai unfortunately pisses me off because she's just too emo and I don't get what's her damage. But nevertheless, both characters are still interesting, and a great addition to the Avatar universe. Thanks for your comment!

This one is great! I love Ty Lee too! The texture really works well with the picture - sometimes you see people use textures and they don't really "mesh" well with the picture at all...this isn't the case here
