An entry for a community project on Drunkduck: What are you afraid of? This is mine.I saw a tornado touch down a few blocks from my house when I was nine. I will never forget it.
I used good ol' Adam to illustrate this for me.
Funny--the night the aforementioned tornado hit, after the 'all clear was announced and we went back home--I saw Adam Ant's 'Strip' video for the first time. It was a nice diversion after quite a harrowing evening....
That tornado hit Springfield, MO in 1983, and was classified as an F4, I believe. Or at least an F3. It was a doozie.

Thanks! It was fun illustrating a choldhood fear. I mean, I'm still scared of them as an adult, but I was absolutely petrified as a kid when there was even a thunderstorm...
