Description

Lady Fish typically live in creeks and streams that are fairly shallow. They have long necks and wing-like front fins. Carnivorous, feeding on water bugs and smaller fish. Their bodies and the top sides of their fins are dark in order to blend in with the river rocks, but the undersides of their fins are bright and colorful, not unlike a butterfly's wings. They use their flashy patterns to scare away predators and attract mates. When it isn't mating season, Lady Fish are solitary creatures and seem to prefer being left alone. While they don't usually have a cranky demeanor, they will go find another patch of rocks to sit on if the water starts getting too crowded
