Description This is a painting I did for a friend for her birthday. This is the first art I have ever given away....ever. It was hard to part with it because I feel such a connection to each piece. It's like I am giving away a part of me when I let go and allow someone else to have a painting that I do. Am I the only person that feels this way? Let me know in the comments.

I had problems with that years ago.
As time goes by i have not only gotten over it, but it thrills me to know that family members and clients have my work hanging in their homes.

You did a nice job on this.

Wow beautiful! I love the way you've done the trees in the background with the sunrays streaming in! And of course the butterfly is gorgeous--so delicate--the title is perfect!

I did really like giving my art away, but it's hard. Hopefully I can learn to love giving more than hoarding, haha.
