well. i just couldn't resist it so i drew some sketches and colored them of 3 possible candidates for a tenth class in tf2 (not that i think there HAS to be a 10th class)

so i thought what the game might need. so i thought there wasn't a real mid-range class (excluding the soldier with the slow but explosive rockets)

so without further ado i shall introduce each one from left to right

candidate no.1
the ol' sea-dog from hailing holland and every port from there on out
The Captain

the captain is the more defensive of the three

his main weapon is a special repeating harpoon gun he made himself with a normal harpoon gun and the design of a repeating crossbow he picked up in the far east. this weapon holds 6 harpoons that does some good damage. the follow an arch like the crossbow, but faster and its also deadly accurate. it fires about as fast as a revolver
his secondary weapon is a more normal single shot harpoon gun but its equipped with a rope and reel. it can be used either on objects to work like a grappling hook so you can sling yourself. or it can be used on enemies to draw the sorry saps near you (and into any danger in the way)
his melee weapon is a whaling harpoon

The Trucker

the trucker is more supportive than the other three

his main weapon is a winchester rifle that holds 10 rounds and also dead accurate. it fires pretty fast (faster that the shotgun)
his secondary weapon fires metal to resupply friends and can push back enemies.
his melee weapon is a rusty truck exhaust

the rebellious hothead from cuba
The Mercenary

this is the more offensive of the three

his main weapon is the AK-47. works much like the SMG only with more bullets and more damage. the reload is longer to. this weapon isn't nearly as accurate as the rest but that wall of bullets is sure to hit SOMETHING.
his secundary is a DOUBLE pistol like the engy or scout times 2. everything is twice as good withe these brothes. double the bullets. double the fireing speed. double the spread and double the reload time.
the melee weapon is either an army knife(no backstabs) of a machette
as an extra perk. this guy can get quite overheated. when he deals or gets enough damage. his rage meter will fill up and with a click on the right mouse button. he will unleash hell upon his enemies. he will walk, reload and melee faster. however. the edges of the screen will darken as anger will blind you (though you only need the bit you see to shoot at)
