Description I really should do more for my clubs… But as it is I have made this quick little pic for ~DiscLove And colored simply, but I think well in regard of the style of Pratchett. Death has no skull in this, because I couldn't get the skull to look right and cut it out.

This will make littles sense unless you've read some Pratchett, especially the one's in which Death plays the chess match for a soul, and always forgets how the "little horsey-shaped thing" (knight) moves.

I always forget how the little horsey-shaped thing moves too!

I checked out your gallery because your quote caught my attention on one of your comments. It seems so familiar.... Where is it from?

It sounds like something Pratchett.

It is, in fact, a scene from Muppet Treasure Island, a most beloved film of my childhood.

Why thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. This piece has gotten the most exposure out of any in my gallery despite how long ago it was made. I'm glad it could still entertain you.

Ah, that was how the death of rats spoke. Death spoke in all caps in the boooks so the death of rats did as well, but he only said 'squeak' which in death-speech became SQUEAK.

Of course, you would have been reading it in Spanish. I was a little short-sighted there. I apologize, I guess I'm used to English speakers a little too much. Y entiendo solamente un poco de la lengua de español.

I love him. I just.. plain.. love him. DEATH is one of the best characters in any story ever made. And this is definately one of the best portraits of him..

Great work!

Looks great! Death is an awesome character and the Grim Squeaker (hehe) is another excellent one too. I really like the composition, it's a very well balanced picture and the colouring looks cool too, although I think that there should be more light reflected from the scythe, making it a lighter grey with even lighter reflection. I really should get round to reading more Discworld books!

Thanks for both the comments and the critique, I knew something was off. Also, I agree both The Death of Rats and Discworld are fine things.
