After seeing a recent mod in progress of a Legend of Zelda based formchange for Kingdom Hearts III along with seeing a couple of Zelda based keyblades in the past, I think Link with all his achievements in each of his lifetimes would prove his courageous heart is strong enough to wield the keyblade that I can see the Master Sword and Hylian Shield unite into a keyblade with the form change being the sword and shield.Hell I can see in each reincarnation Link's journey is to prove his heart is worthy enough to wield the keyblade again so the Master Sword wouldn't have to be placed in the Sacred Realm no more as as a keyblade its permanently tied to Links heart and his family bloodline.
