Alchemist uses a very sophisticated use of words, and sometimes say things that no one else understands. He believes that fighting more battles, and gaining more power isn't the only way to evolve. It is possible that some bakugan can evolve after taking down some spiritual barrier. Some bakugan might only be able to evolve if they have found a partner to brawl with. Alchemist has actually evolved once.

He was meditating searching his soul to see if there was something he could make better. Wither it be for battle, or just improve his personalty. And then it happened he had found a barrier and took it down. However, instead of evolving into a fusion dragonoid his horns, and other parts of his body changed into the color of brown. Brown is the color of his cores. his base G-power went up a little, and he gained a new ability that no other dragonoid as. And it is a powerful move. Because of this he is the second wisest of the comrades, and his base G-power is the highest.
