I like your version of Owls ( and bears hybrid?). I love owls. I'm ver curious about your brush it gets from dark to light in almost every stroke. I try to find the right brush settings, but it never look as good as this.

Ooooh!! Hmmm with blending at a high medium setting and dilution at the same, you'll be able to pull that look off. But if you mean the lighting effects i pull off. I paint a base before i move forward with using more vibrant color pf the base. So base fur was dark grey i used a lighter grey brown to highlight it. here is my cool painting tech!!
