I have just bought an OM1n, to be honest my first roll was not great, and my second roll did not wind on properly, and I thought I had 36 exposures, when in fact I had none. How are you getting on with the viewfinder and getting focus?
This a a lovely shot, I am looking forward to getting something equally as good. Very well done.
Best wishes.........Alan

I am only beginning with this camera too, and all these photos are from my first film roll. It was a little troublesome to load the film and such, but luckily, there are loads of people around who remember the times of these cameras better than I do, so it wasn't hard to find help.
Focus is not that hard, it is basically the same as with modern DSLRs (only easier to manage than many, I think). It is important though, to spend some time setting the focus, aperture and shutter right prior to each photo. The viewfinder is great, it's much better than what I have had in any of my DSLRs, I think. The round thing in the middle (which I only know the name of in Norwegian - I guess that wouldn't help much, probably) shows clearly whether your subject is in focus or not and also it should give a more accurate account of the light.
Thank you for kind words, I wish you the best of luck with your OM-1, it is an excellent camera.

Here, I think the play of light and shadow really adds to the photograph.
Well captured.

Thank you, that was sort of my plan when I shoot it, I'm glad it turned out well.
