FANART WOOOO. This is for the newest Legend of Zelda game, A Link Between Worlds. I have just finished it, twice, so I decided to fan art some Link (my Link is named Sandwich. Hence the sandwich on his sheath. He is perfect.) and the princesses.
Honestly Hilda is so much better than Zelda. (SPOILERS AHEAD) So glad I got to save her kingdom too. Gosh, it was such a nice little twist. I guess it should have been expected, but at the same time not at all!

So, in my world, before I beat the game, I thought that Hilda, having said and implied multiple times throughout the game how jealous she is of Zelda to have such a perfect kingdom and a wonderful courageous hero, would want to take Link as her own hero. So she would have already defeated Yuga-Gannon on her own while Link saved all the sages, then once he had the triforce of courage, he would get through Lorule castle and find that who he had to fight was Hilda with the triforce of power and wisdom. Crazy, right? Well, she would prove to be way too strong for poor Link and he would fall, and Hilda would turn Link into Dark Link, making him unable to remain in Hyrule. Then Hilda would have the triforce, then Link, still having his memories of before, would wish for the return of Lorule's triforce, and send Zelda back to Hyrule with her triforce, but Link would be stuck as Hilda's hero forever. Not like that's bad. Hilda is crazy hot. (SPOILERS OVER)
