There is very little out there for the second Deep Space Nine featured in the novels over the last years, in fact I couldn't find a single layout for this version of Ops.Soooooooooo... I made one!
Based on the description in the fantastic novel Revelation and Dust and with input from the books author David R George III, here is the control room for the Frontier Class Deep Space Nine II. It may not be 100% accurate to what the creators had in mind and I'll amend any errors or omissions.

Looks more or less how I imagined it, although in my mind it was a little bit bigger with groups of stations (2-3) along the perimeter with fewer turbolifts/ doors and a few other differences in the details. But overall, I think you did a great job!

I had the same original thoughts about consoles. I had the rough outline from the book but in my head there were more consoles round the edge, but then when I started mapping it out it just didn’t fit, unless I made the room giant.

I understand the size issue. Although the new DS9 is HUGE itself, having a command center that's too big sort of defeats the purpose. Maybe I'll sketch up something on paper to show how I envisioned it. I'd like to hear your opinion on it. But again- excellent work on this piece!

Though I had no trouble with Starbase Yorktown, imagine if they used this space station on Star Trek Beyond -- especially if it had both an internal dome and an external one with more "platforms" that resemble cities or parks on them.

I think the New DS9 being so big and slick maybe put people off when they first saw it, but if you’re starfleet and you want to build a new station in a strategically and economically vital area, you’re going to pull out all the stops!
