Just concerning the movies, I wish we had more of a chance for some lady jedi to get screen time. You know, not just dying but doing something awesome.Thankfully, Clone Wars exists. I can't wait to catch up on all the episodes I've been missing. ;w;

Filoni needed her to get Ahsoka to leave the Jedi. She was chosen to be the villain :/

Barriss Offee technically speaking wasn't a villain and still served the interests of the Galactic Republic during the clone wars and was also still in contact with her master luminara unduli, after the Jedi Temple event involving Ahsoka.
She was killed during order 66 in the Star Wars Revenge of the Sith comic on Felucia

Who knows...The Clone Wars show disrupted/contradicted a lot of Clone Wars era sources, especially the books; the Republic Commando Series for example.
