Description Another important work for me, because it started out just as a study of an arm, and came out as something monumental (all the "objects" are drawn on 100x70 cm paper), like a giant statue, that does not move and has a certain aura of tranquility but at the same time just looms above you. At this moment I started feeling that drawings lack the near-totality of sculpture (where you have space, though there is no time, unlike in dance - or rather the viewer creates their own time depending on how long they look at the sculpture). So even though the charcoal drawing as a medium lacks so much, another important thing I'm concentrating on is monumentalism, to try and cause as much of an impact as possible. As of today I'm failing horribly.

Fantastic drawing. The forearm and hand are really well done. I also like the heavy contrast between the left and right sides.
