Here is how I did it 
Flat red and yellow mixed a little and dabbed. Some flat military camo brown mixed and dabbed. I put the darker it the seams to accentuate the parts. I used a real fine Testors brush and a soft camel hair brush for water colors. The water color brush is not a cheapy so the hair stay in the brush. Its good for laying light see-through coats and stuff.

Thanks for the advice bro! Got a lot of weathering cars in the works but am in no hurry to post. Want these cars to really look awesome and will not serve any fries before their time!
