Just because I noticed some people keep annoying some people about them hiding comments on their pages and making stupid assumptions about them like "you're asshurt because you have not the balls to show them".Sure, is true it could be irritating when someone hide comments that aren't especially heartwarming for them, but after all is their decision what they keep visible to public on their pages. Also, there are situations where hiding comments is justifiable.

That's why it's always beneficial to be early when drama starts because once it's over the comments are gonna be hidden!

How would I hide comments? I never got to the point of how to do it really.
Also, when people hide comments they don't give you a reason why they hide it. They just do it and move on.
It's not a big deal it's just something that bothers me when I say something on another person's page.

It is extremely rare i hide a comment, the only cases are: non-sense comments, comments written in a tiny font and i hate it because my sight gets tired since i have myopia on my left eye, extremely annoying comments (which is rare because i want people see how stupid that commenter is).

They can see that someone hid their own comment but they (page owner) are not able to un-hide it as far as I'm aware. I don't know how it works for people with premium accounts and all that so that's what I'd like to find out.

Most comments I hide are because looking at them makes me feel sad..because I end up remembering my regrets.. others are simply because I don't wanna see hate towards me, because it ends up making me feel sadder.. Some maybe just past buds that betrayed me though too..

of course it's nonsense to bother people about hiding comments, HOWEVER..
Hiding comments is really not smart from a personal-marketing perspective. It only natural that most people would be suspicious of it Β - what is it that you MUST HIDE from your page? someone calling you out on something bad you said or did? Someone being mean to you? Why are they being mean to you? you must have given them a reason. and so on.
So, is the damn llama comment SO ANNOYING that you would rather have a MUCH uglier "hidden by user" thing on your page? wtf?

SomebodyΒ spammed me withΒ a rant on my profile because they don't agree with my opinions. What did I do? Hid the comment and flagged it for extra power.

There is this one fake feminist who wants me to unhide comments from anti feminists. My answer to that is no.

If someone thanks me for the fav without complimenting my work I usually hide the comment, if someone cant recognize my talent they don't deserve the exposure.

I usualy get suspicious if someone hides all their comments and has not something like "do not thank me for..." or "please don't beg for..." on their profile.
I think that's one of the few valid reasons to hide comments.

I don't care about people doing this on their page. I care when they come to my page, comment, and then hide it. It's intriging since they felt editing the text wasn't good enough.

I admit I do get curious about hidden comments, but I won't bother someone if they decide to hide it.

I agree. I hide my comments when:
1 The comments have nothing to do with my photo.
2. When people have to resort to name-calling when you disagree with their views.
3. Because of spam related problems.
4. When people chew me out on my opinions. I don't need any hostile comments, whether its insulting or not.

Half agreed; for the most part, yes (spam, etc..), but art thieves just hide and block to prevent people from noticing.
Not that a page full of hidden comments will get anybody suspicious at all, of course.

Agreed, though I know of one person who yelled at me and was horribly rude to me and then hid the comments so her friends and watchers couldn't see her being a b***h.

Anyway, I like this stamp. If you hide your comments, its your decision to do that, not mine. And if I hide MY comments, it's my decision, no anyone elses. So What's the big deal about hiding things? A lot of the things I hide are just comments I've left myself as little memo's and links to things I don't want to forget :c
