Description Well, one thing that uses to happen on dA is when someone wants to find things like mythological trolls, real ponies or of other kind of ponies instead the MLP ones or pictures about some country (like Italia, Korea or Russia), one see pictures about trollfaces, Homestuck, Hetalia characters and MLP:FiM stuff, which can be very boring sometimes.

To see less of this stuff and more of you really wish to see, you should put a minus sign before the keyword you want to avoid.

In example, to avoid to see Hetalia stuff when you want to see stuff about Russia (not the Hetalia character, obviously), you should type in the search box
"Russia -hetalia"
or to search about mythological trolls
"troll trolls -trollface -homestuck -trolling -meme -coolface"

Actually what is going to happen is that you will not see too many matches about these images, though sometimes you will see some of these images but less at least.

As a suggestion for the deviantART team, maybe can be useful to allow to the users to configure the search criteria when they wants to find pictures on dA and have these anti-keywords by default.

You can use stamps even if you aren't a non-premium user ----> [link]

I'm adding this to my collection for the sake of my friends who don't understand search engines.

That's quite interesting. I never knew that. Yeah, nowadays you get blasted with images if you type in Pony. This is good to know. Thanks.

Yeah, with the "-" you exclude the deviations with the keywords that have it.

Learned that awhile back. I wish it would work with what people are being. Like browsing through ARTISTIC nude.
I'd do: -attention whore freak, -desperate idiot who must show off his junk, -desperate idiot dumb enough to show off is ERECT junk, -desperate girl spreading her legs, and -stupid attention cameraphone whores

Did I miss any?

XD Though, I think I'd lose half the nudes

I know, right ? There are more shit that you can see less thanks to this feature, with this you can see other things that are not very overrated on dA or are disgusting like people showing their genitals and their duckfaces (which are self-claimed "art").

I personally don't have any problem with the big amount of Hetalia, Homestuck, MLP and trollfaces crap that bounds on dA but this feature makes the things easier for other people.
