i was thinking of cutting it short at the bottom, it's too long and there's too much white space at the bottom and the bird photo doesn't stick to the piece well because of it. what do you think?

Yes, until she hits the ice layer, the last layer of the sky. I saw that in a looney toons cartoon, when the little airplane kept going up and up and then he hit the end of the sky, which was a thick layer of blue ice. And it was really cold.

But I actually think it could have looked better without the birds, even though it doesn't look to bad with either

I know, i'm planning on submitting it alone, not necessarily upside down, because it has a nice floating feeling to it in it's upright position. But it's for the diptych contest on let-it-di icon:let-it-di: and so it had to be somewhat a diptych

I really like the upside-down version, but I think it would look great upright too, it's generally a really nice, many different way to use picture
