I had this idea to draw little scenes for the pokemon princesses . At first I wasn't sure if this would warrant its own deviation instead of posting them all in a compilation (once there's more) because of the questionable quality of the background. Buuuut this kind of is like the first picture in a... year? with a proper background which alone probably makes it stand above the usual "characters standing against a white background". So here it is, I'll see what I'll do with the possible other pictures in the series later.But anyway, Pokemon trainer Rapunzel runs away from her overprotective mother to see the floating Lampent festival in Castelia city.
Still not satisfied with the hat and bag but can't be bothered to think of anything better for this. She can buy new ones later?

I love how her bag is actually her movie bodice.

Are they all going to have some pokemon that corresponds to their character? Like Corphish being Sebastian or something for Ariel.

They will most likely get suitable pokemon if it fits the picture. I will try to include the pokemon whenever possible, but sometimes there might not be enough room, or it'd break the atmosphere I have in mind.
Rapunzel has a cabbie hat since I love cabbie hats and she's one of my favourite characters, but so far I haven't managed to draw a design I'd like.
