Hoo boy. This is from like two years ago or something like that. Once every few months I've remembered that it's still a thing and managed to draw a character or two, and then it was forgotten again. Now I finished it like a month ago, but somehow even submitting it has turned into such a chore... but here it is. OMG I'm so glad to finally be over with it!But anyway, this is Snow White's class. You can read more about her in her bio here . Her school is a very small one in the middle of nowhere and it only has two classes, this being the kids aged 10 to 13. For further studies you have to go to Pewter or Viridian City. And actually this is around a year ago from the "current" time of my Pokemon world, since by now Snow White should already be out of school, but this was drawn before I wrote her description. Writing things like this feels kind of dumb since nobody but me cares about such details (and nobody would even have the means to even if they were interested since like 90% of the story is only in my head), but it seriously bothers me. Uh, maybe I should try to get stuff faster so that the descriptions aren't outdated by a year when I finally manage to upload them...
I really enjoy making character groups like this, be it classrooms or teams or (especially) relatives so despite this taking forever I had a lot of fun. Like back when I was writing about Ariel's family I was thinking about what their classes would be like (don't worry I'm not going to draw that).
Who are the other characters? I'll post a separate picture with their names later. Some should be recognisable to the people who know which work they're from, but don't waste time trying to recognise them all since some are practically OCs just there to fill space.

I think the guy in the yellow hoodie and auburn hair is the prince. The girl dressed in black with the Gothiltelle backpack is either Edna Mode or one of her relatives. The two black kids may be humanized Lion King characters and\or relatives of them. Blond guy may be Adrien\Chat Noir and then either the girl with the blue dress and long black hair or the one with the blue bob-ish haircut in teal, are Marinette\Ladybug. Otherwise I think that the blue dress girl is from some beach anime or whatever. The medium-brunette in overalls and bright pink hairband may be one of Gru's adopted daughters. The guy with pink hair is Soledad's little brother. The tiny girl in blue with ash-brown ponytail and the one with the bunny hat are based on Babs and Lola Bunny respectively? Or maybe bunny hat girl is based on Roll from Megaman. And the kid in orange with dark brown hair and tan skin is based on Tye from Neokosmos. The tan girl with auburn bob in white I see as somewhat of a mix between Nadja of Blue Water and Leela of the Sevateem. And the firetruck-red hair guy in green to me seems a little like Koichiro Izumi from the original Digimon. And the guy with messy black hair in red and white is Sousuke from Ponyo.

Relatives to the Lion King characters is correct, not so for the others (I haven't even heard of some of those characters).

I just put the first characters\stuff that came to mind. Most of them just look like generic artwork\background kids, or trainer class kids. (And I already knew you were doing Lion King family). And I was right on Carrot and Judy being bunny-themed.

Simba's a pretty good guess! (but nope) The characters are being posted on my Pokeprincess tumblr , one a day, so you can check some identities there. I would have already posted a compilation on dA days ago, but I'm still in the process of writing some biographies so the unintentional guessing game continues a bit longer. If I had known people were this interested in background character #11 I wouldn't have uploaded anything before I had everything ready... Now things will end up a bit anticlimactic when people guess well-known characters they like, and the correct answer turns out to be "some low level npc from the Pokemon games turned into an OC".
Seth was actually never planned for this. The Pokemon world is so large and there are a ton of different locations to use, so I'd find it a waste to put a lot of important characters in the same place. And the character's canon story would have to make it plausible to put them in the countryside in a forest in the middle of nowhere.

Yea I just looked at your tumblr(and followed) and I thought the one based from the black cauldron was simba XD I almost said that she was kiara but didn't think it was right. AND OH WOW I should've know I recognized the outfits from the characters from harvest moon and the picnicker from ORAS it stressed me out like I literally tried to look up 'anime girls with overalls' and 'teal and orange uniform anime' it made me so angry I couldn't figure it out.
Also it could work for Seth's story as like a transfer student or just a traveling trainer/champion(like the protagonist in the games) who goes to the outskirts to learn about the different places in the world.
I really love your work though. It's always so deeply detailed and is full of Easter eggs that the Easter bunny takes from them to use for every Easter for the next ten years. It's Fun and colorful and I really enjoy it.

I suppose being a transfer student would work for anything, but I don't really see how that'd have much to do with her canon story. I'd rather write the Pokemon characters with story ideas that naturally come from the source material than try to squeeze them into whatever I'm currently working on. And I don't think I care enough about Snow White's class to waste a character I like as much as Seth as a background character there.
I really like having lots of dumb little details in pictures like this. Shame it takes so much effort to draw them...

I completely understand that. For seths character I just meant in the sense of how her initial appearance as a character was of a simple tea salesgirl and student rather than a queen it would make sense for her character to follow a similar role. Are any of the characters going to live near each other?
And just know that your effort is recognized and appreciated and that every 'dumb' little detail is being thoroughly enjoyed by someone.

No they aren't. There are so many locations in the Pokemon world that I think it'd be a waste to put every important character in one place. Most of the classmates are just background fodder.

Stop right there. Your descriptions and added details are not dumb. If it feels important, no matter how small or arbitrary, then it is important. The fact that you typed it out in the first place makes it important, if nothing else. Personally, I enjoy seeing the insight into what you were thinking when you created your work. Keep doing what you do and have a little more faith in your judgement of importance.
