A thing I found with your tutorial is that the Screen blending type doesn't seem to work very well with Reds.

Yup, in that case you have to pick a darker colour or go with 'darken' instead of 'Screen'.

I just got PSP9... it's so confusing...
But I do have a quick question, can you color with lines instead of the lasso tool? Would it come out just as neat?

You can also colour with the normal colour tools and it would come out
just as neat if you colour between the lines ^_^
