There have been many a swim scene caught with this same fun and frivolity in mind. I seem to recall several photos from some of the great photographers who snap one off like this... kinda says something for your work doesn't it? I think this is great and it shows a true sense of what summer time fun is all about. The friendship that you captured, the sense of laughter, all in just one quick shot.
You should be proud of yourself.

It looks like they're flying!
Like in Peter Pan, where he grabs their hands and they all fly off? It looks like that. More so than they're about to jump into the water.
