My hometown DortmundA former brewery is transformed into a gallery/museum/home of art
U-Turm is its name and it is a real U-turn from work into art.

Amazing capture of a fascinating piece of architecture - in its highest form , art. A perfect U-Turn indeed.
Beautiful metallic , neat, shining structures, remarkable use of light and colours: soft, warm hues/vs/strong shades.
All round that white string reflecting the earthly stairs and dividing your picture in a perfect symmetry..
Great idea to convert a traditional German place into a modern "temple" dedicated to beauty, BTW.
You rendered the very essence of this loccation Harald. Great work.
And thanks for sharing with us all these beautiful places in your town together with their history.

Useless to say it instantly brought to my mind Oliver Stones ' movie. It has nothing to do wiht your capture at first sight, but a U-Turn always stays a U-Turn...

No matter if it is ascending or descending, escalating or de-escalating: It shows the structural change of my home region from heavy industry via scratch and nothing to culture and art. And its much better to have Oliver Stone than Sin City or Gotham City here...
Of course there are some more pics of this location in the queue. At this moment I'm waiting also for the official clearance for a shoting there.
