I really like this as a woodland pattern; the grays and gray-browns you have here seem like they would be very useful in a variety of wooded environs. Also the texture os very nice, and it looks like you have a good color distribution.

Uh, you do realize that DTP stands for Digital Transitional Pattern.

This works in most woodlands, south, east , north , west, jungle, pine, birch, you name it. Multicam works no where but in arid areas. This one is very transitional if compared with multicam. Just saying... UH cheerrrrss!

Ok, well I guess I didn't get my point across very well. That's my fault, I admit.

The transitional you are talking about which works in multiple woodland environments; Is not the transitional the Army is talking about. They are looking for a transitional pattern that works well in those environments between woodland and arid. They also want the pattern to perform somewhat decently in those extremes too.

The whole Multicam only working in arid, is absolutely incorrect. It actually works decently across the woodland-arid spectrum. With it shining in those inbetween areas. If you look at previous U.S. Army testing, It will show that. Also, it wouldn't be so popular if it didn't work to some degree for which it was designed for.

Have you tested out tropical/woodland Multicam yet? I haven't and there is no field photos of it I could find besides Crye's release photos. Tropic Multicam may have low contrast colors but it doesn't mean it's bad. Crye has been known for focusing on blending rather than disruption. The tropic variant takes it to the extreme which may, depending on a few other variables, make it a good blending pattern.

I really like the LPCS ML pattern, but I don't think it fits into the challenge. The reason why is because it doesn't appear to follow any of the guidelines. It's not the transitional the Army is talking about and you say it is based on your LPCS pattern which is not a pattern the Army has in it's inventory before the NDA.
