Rich men manipulate the poor people with nationalism, patriotism and divide them with politics.
They than used the military, as they had all the power to force their will. France and Germany with the industrial area's of Western germany, Austria and Prussia for domination of Germany, Russia with it's love of the Orthodox church/interests in the Balkans and Britain with it's colonial interests, alliances and need to police the world.

You must be in USII then. The purpose of war is to get done what we cannot peacefully. Am I wrong?♠

yeah..
*not exactly proud of it*
i agree with that, but how much self interest is taken?
if japan didn't want to have "self interest" to expand and go into china, *rape of Nanjing* with the sole purpose to expand, and F.&R. in the treaty of V. didn't have so harsh on Germany and only go for their own wants not mutually how much of ww2 could of been avoided???

You seem like a conspiracist. Everything has a purpose, and many things although could be avoided from your point of view, are much more deeper. Don't believe all the liberal lies that you are taught in your textbooks.

Sorry about that then, I am one of those kinds people who often likes to move pieces around and see "why" But I often ask, or end up when i finish a book, asking "How?, killing someone with their whole life around them and people they knew and people they loved is so real,
why do we end up fighting to blood and death, when we could just talk things out if we fight with mutual interests instead?"

Your kind of people voted for obama...
Many things CAN be solved by talking it out, but some cannot. Did you ever try to argue with a persistant young kid on the internet? One who could barely speak english? That's what its like to get your point accross to other nations. Sometimes you just wanna ground those kids so they'd learn their lesson.
