Peridot Mavery | The Aviary | Student/ Ex-criminal

Seeing Robin's reference motivated me to finally finish Peridot's ref. This was long overdue, |D considering how long they've existed and been roleplayed already. Anyhow, the details are kind of hard to see, especially since I used a sketchy brush.

Name: Peridot Mavery

Age: His body's age is somewhere in its twenties.

Height: 5' 10"

Occupation: University Student/ criminal informant

Likes:
+ time with his mushy
+ cleanliness/ neatness
+ his cellphone and laptop
+ gaming
+ his shovel/spade combo and his trowel
+ elaborating ways to sustain his criminal network and other connections
+ house browsing (literally looking at new homes that he's never going to buy)
+ his car. he absolutely loves his car. (but I can't draw cars, so just imagine a nice black car)
+ being in control most of the time

Dislikes:
- germs, untidiness
- people who call people freaks
- Trent
- demons

Background:

To make a long story as short as possible, Peridot started out as an alternate personality of Peregrine (Perry) Mavery. He committed crimes and built up extremely deeply rooted criminal connections using Perry's body. After meeting Robin Darling , a good friend of Perry's, Peridot decided he didn't want to be killed (since Robin was coming up with different ways to kill Perry's malicious alternate personalities) and so made a contract with a demon to leave Perry's body and find his own. It took several bodies before he found one who had no known relatives/friends and happened to be near death. A new body came with a lot of problems of course, like forgetting how to do some things that he had been depending on Perry for. There's also the fact that the demon contract involves him giving up his soul to the demon once it grows big enough. : D The demon has grown impatient though and has since begun to eat parts of Peridot's soul. The demon learned that he can safely do this because Peridot's soul grows back fast enough for him to steal bits away without being noticed. (his soul grows back fast because he is striving to become a better person/ not ruthless criminal for Robin). Currently, Peridot has (through an impossible turn of events) befriended Robin and lives with him. He struggles to keep his networks from turning on him and Robin now that they think he's gone soft.

Random:
* really likes organic chips.
* eats a lot when he's nervous.
* likes to cook, a taste he got from Perry (though sometimes he still forgets how to cook).
* can't read or write very well (he didn't take that knowledge with him when he left Perry).
* likes to paint.
* a real jerk when he doesn't have to be nice to gain connections.
* games to replace his urge to commit crimes.
* struggles with a power complex, since Perry was a pretty powerful vampire and now he has none of Perry's abilities.
* not great at long-boarding but he likes it
* Occasionally, he acts like Perry.
