Description Chicken Boo's cameo as the Animaniacs' agent in the 65th episode! I love Chicken Boo.

For those who don't know, he's one of the Animaniacs cast whose shtick is that he'll start the ep off at the height of his popularity (having made it big as an actor, ballerina, or whatever), until he loses part of the costume on his face (such as his glasses or wig) and, suddenly, everyone realises the one crazy person was right - he really IS a giant chicken! At this point everyone ceases to be a fan (often denying that they ever were) and he gets chased away, despite the fact that he usually was good at the thing he was doing.

Says something about humanity, no? Also suggest amazing things about his costume-making skills - just look at that suit!

I'm not sure if that's an anime reference, but now I wish Boo had got some anime-reference eps!

It's not an anime reference but it is a reference.

great job on this. also I agree. at the risk of bringing politics onto a chicken boo drawing, I always compared that cartoon to one side liking something, until they realize it's the other side doing it. "man, what great policies... oh, THAT side came up with it? but that side is terrible, it'll never work!" lol

Ha, yeah! I both think that's kind of fickle, but also catch myself doing it sometimes.

Though, to be fair, with policies, ideas get stolen, so that might be the cause sometimes.

I love Chicken Boo! Man he's so cute. Good job with this I appreciate people who have a love for older cartoons, Animaniacs is probably one of my most favorite cartoons!

Thank you! I very much have a love for old cartoons.

I've been watching through all 99 Animaniacs eps recently and one interesting thing I've noticed is that the ones that made it to the UK and onto UK VHS tapes generally were the better eps! For example, I was always sad that I only had 1 Rita & Runt ep on VHS, but now that I've seen the rest I know that Phranken-Runt is head and shoulders above the rest for animation and song quality (and for the plot/comedy too, in my opinion). So, it looks like whoever took the time to compile the VHS eps actually cared about the quality, and I really appreciate that! In comparison, whoever got the rights to MLP:FIM DVDs in the UK sat on them for ages and, when the S1 DVDs finally did get released, the eps weren't even in order. Maybe it's just a UK thing? Definitely 80s UK didn't care about avoiding reruns or showing episodes in order.

On the bright side, it makes watching them as an adult even more worth it, because child-me never had chance to watch the all the eps, let alone all of them in order, and there's a lot more multi-ep plot arcs when series are viewed that way!

I binged them too! They give me a sense of nostalgia, even so I'm old enough to get the cheesy adult jokes which makes it tons funnier than normal! So I've absolutely loved it, I use to have a few dvds, but I think my mother sold them in a yard sale yeaaarrsss ago, like when I was like young, fiesty, and thought I owned everyone's soul with my attitude!Β

I finished the lot a few days ago!

(That one about Slappy Squirrel getting put into a care home sure came out of nowhere, right? )

Kind of sad I'm finished, but there are other cartoons worth a binge, I'm sure! Or I could do something more productive, either or.

Man Slappy is life and awe, but you can draw more of them! Why stop at one? Draw them to your hearts contentΒ
