Description Idea I had before S2, ha... Changed the dialogue a bit to reflect that, but mostly just rushed through this to get it out of my WIP folder (I've not seen "Spike will get wings after cocooning" before, so I figured it was worth finishing).

That he was meant to come out like an attractive-stallion-like-dragon didn't really come across very well, I think (poor anatomy is poor). Still, there are lots of "Spike as a pony" things out there so I'm sure it's covered.

Probably for Scraps soonish.

If I'd continued this story then I think it would have become about Twilight/Rarity turning into rivals whilst Spike remained mostly oblivious/focused on getting used to life as a bigger dragon.

the problem I see is that rarity just uses spike and takes advantage of his naivete but is not that she doesnt care for him is that she doesnt on the same way

I'd say she just treats him as a kid. I'm not sure she means to lead him on (though she has used his crush to her advantage before). It's not ideal but she could be worse about it.
