Description
Aww, only one page submitted at a time?! What a rip off!!...hopefully not.
As you can see, I changed my font. Hope it fits better this time, although I kinda have difficulties since this font does not have an italic or bold mode. At least not one that is usable in my photoshop. I'm gonna have to find a better clementine font package. Any idea where to find one?
Disclaimer: DC owns TT, Emania owns the wonderful fanfic, credit to this city skyline photo I used on the last panel belongs to whoever took it at the first place.
Technicals:
-Handsketched
-Colored and retouched digitally on Photoshop
-Backgrounds are shoots from my TitansTower 3d model.
I kinda liked my sketch for page 3, hope it'll turn out even better after further work, so come again soon (or later), kay?
-Throws brownies to everyone-
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND SEASONS GREETINGS Y'ALL!!!!!!
Constructive criticisms are welcomed.

It's nice that they just sit down together and talk. Very heartwarming.
Great panel, looking forward to more.

i like the second panel. there's a contrast between what raven is thinking and what she's expressing - which is good since raven doesn't like showing emotions. keep up the good work!

Thank you!! Drawing raven's expression feels like cooking with a very strict recipe sometimes, if its one teaspoon then it should only be that much, or the result will differ greatly, but thats the fun!!! thanks again for the comment

You know...it's been so long since I worked on "Home" that I see your page, and end up opening up "Home" to re-read the chapter. Heh.
And I realize that I love the way you incorporate the narrative into this. It works really well.
^_^
Thanks again for doing this!

aww i put some additional lines, you must alrdy noticed, if it works well to your original narrative, then it's my happiness
i had so much fun in your fics, i figured you can use some visual indulgence while im pretending to be a "professional" artist

I think it works very well.
I can always use some "visual indulgence"! And girl, these are so incredibly professional to me, I can't even explain. (please forgive me if you're not a girl -- I can never tell -- I called someone a girl once -- no, twice -- when they were really boys. I guess I just assume most people who are into my fics are girls. )
I'm very glad you liked the fics in the first place, and that you would like them enough to do this is just so amazingly cool.

I just LOVE how you did Raven, she looks just like she should even in a different style.

Tis excellent work again
I love raven's pose and profile in the first pane.
Only quible is the final panel, you don't need and shouldn't have the baloon with just ellipses... instead, start his second speech bubble in that pane with ellipses "I got an message from..." "...an old friend."
The separation of just two bubbles reads more smoothly than three since the pause is implied by having two separate bubbles.

yep! i missed the final panel's glitch, jst noticed how weird it came out when you point it for me. thanks! your thoughts always help!
im surprised on how rae turned out on first panel myself, it started with a very simple lineart, unlike my usual messy-sketchy lines! glad you enjoyed it too

As to the font, good ole "Comic Sans" not working for you? it's included on all PC's and most Macs, and has bold, italic, and underline forms?

harlequeenade In reply to hults2 [2008-12-29 14:05:01 +0000 UTC]
unfortunately, on my photoshop the comic sans only came up with "bold" and "regular", maybe its the installation or something... but recently i found a nice comic font package on dafont.com, tested it on photoshop, workin good
so lets see how it turn out on the next page then
