Another one!! I'm on a roll !!

Donated prize for for winning the viewer's choice in 's Cultures contest. This is her beautiful mare Naula.

I'm actually so, so pleased with this . I don't quite know what is going on with the pose, I was just doodling around and this came out. Combined with the strange pose, choosing the hardest design could kinda makes me a sucker for punishment , but I did it!!

I love the colouring, the way I did it was rather time consuming, but it turned out pretty well. It was all done in grey scale and each colour had to be recoloured and have the edges smoothed out, so it took quite a while. It's how I usually do markings, but with such a complex design it really tested me, which is great . I think her creamy bits are a little off and the dark bits a bit too blue but I'm pleased with the shading . The mane is a little dull but the tail is lovely and shiny.
