Entry to 's contest to design a mate for her mare Corazon (the purple horse)

This is my stallion (I haven't thought of a name for him yet ) !!! I'm gonna upload another picture of just him so you can see his markings and colours properly, but first I wanted to do one of him and Cora together.

Cora was a really fun horse to colour, I so rarely get a chance to have a go at shading purple .

Weirdly enough I find walking horses really difficult so these lines took a loooooooooong time....
I've never tried to do a beachy scene before, but I wanted something a little different to grass for a change. The sand worked out really well, but I've never tried water digitally before, so I really don't like the sea, but after working on it for over an hour this is the best I came up with .
