I have decided.

I have made a decision.

I am no longer unhappy or angry.
I blow kisses to the obstructors.
I hold the door for the burglar on his way
     to the van.
I help the little old lady across the street.
I am a patient driver,
     and I wave to people I don't know.

     (Are they really strangers?)

I still listen to angry music,
     but,
I dance to it.

I can hear the windchimes. Can you?
     "Why have you changed so?"
Because I opened my window,
And leaned my head outside,
And took a real deep breath.

     "Light the candle, rather than
     Curse the darkness."
