Anne placed the food down in front of herself, and set a plate up at the other side of the table for Elle anyway. "I made some for you anyway," she said loudly. Elle had a quick thought about how much her stomach was grumbling before remembering how much her career depended on her figure. She tried to be polite in her response, "Aww, thank you Ams but I really am full. Go ahead and have both of them for me okay?" Ams. Elle hadn't called her that in a while. Anne was hoping she could get Elle to have something, but it wasn't to be. She had been prepared to eat both meals regardless, but the nickname Elle called her made her think that maybe she could reconnect with her old friend still.
They chatted a bit while Anne was digging in, Elle couldn't stop thinking about the meal she'd been prepared. It had been far too long since her last cheat day. That train of thought brought her to the mukbang channels she watched so fervently. "You know," Anne started, mouth only partially full, "I'm not gonna lie to you Elms, I am a little bit jealous that it was you who ended up as the model-slash-influencer." She hoped that maybe this might open up a little, maybe they could talk freely. Elle snapped back into the conversation having come up with an idea, "You want to be one?" she blurted out as though offering a job. Anne was a little stunned, "W-what? Well, yeah, I guess," she looked down at her already stomach which was already far too big for the shirt it was in, continuing, "But I don't have the body for it," she smacked her gut as she said this. A primal spark lit in Elle as she watched Anne's stomach ripple and wobble from the slap. She pulled out her laptop and opened up to her favorite channel.
