Work in progress of my first attempt at digital painting/airbrushing. This was all drawn from scratch, no painting over although I did trace a few outlines as you can see, but only because there is NO control using a mouse. I know my techinque is totally off and I cheated and used the Smudge Tool. But nobody told me there was some kinda unwritten law that it is a sin to use the Smudge Tool in painting. Please tell me that isn't true because then I'd be a big cheater but it is quite nessecary since I don't have a pressure sensitive graphics tablet. I finally managed to get the pattern on the material around her with the textured brushes, much more efficent than stippling.

Drawn all with a mouse in Photoshop CS2.
