Description Here is another lovely dog I drew for my online pet portraits portfolio.

To show some different art styles that can be ordered, I have drawn this one using pen & ink copic multiliners and watercolour wash over the top. What do you think of this style? I would love some feedback so I know I am on the right track.

As someone who tends to be drawn towards the photorealistic, I wouldn't normally expect to go for something like this...but I actually really like it. I think it's definitely worth pursuing this approach (in fact I might give something similar a try myself!)

I'm glad you like my art style.   My favourite technique and specialty at the moment is pen and ink with watercolour wash, although I have not posted a lot of them here. 

I plan to do many more of this style as I have had some very positive feedback, and hopefully I will have success with this style in my portrait art business.  Thanks for the comment

Thanks for the comments   They are lovely dogs. My friend has one and has constantly said how loving and beautiful they are

Interesting as I had Chihuahuas and Ridgebacks and they got along. Usually the Chi's ran the show. The Ridgeback would lay on the floor and they would "fight" until I finally got tired of the noise and made them stop!

haha, that's hilarious.    She would also tell me that her Ridgeback would lie down and let her toddler daughter climb on her and sometimes ride her like a horse, and she never complained

Yes, if they like you, they really like you. If they don't---watch out! My female RB would let people IN the house but wouldn't let them out till we went to the door and saw them out.

I am hoping to offer people the option of whichever style they would prefer for their beloved pet. They would have a choice of four different styles, so hopefully something to suit everyone's tastes and budget
