Not all girls are incapable of doing things on their own, and who better to send that message than the one who's been around for over 90 years? Minnie Mouse is a strong female character, and don't you forget it.

Normally, Mickey has to save Minnie from whatever peril she's in, but there's two exceptions in two cartoons where the exact opposite happens. Pioneer Days and Building a Building. In both instances, Mickey is struggling against his foe, and Minnie frees herself, brings out something hot and places it in their buttocks, rescuing her lover from peril.

When we're talking video games... Sure, she was the damsel in Castle of Illusion and its 2013 remake, but that changed with Disney's Magical Quest 2 aka The Great Circus Mystery and Mickey's Dangerous Chase where she is a playable character alongside Mickey himself. And in both Disney's Hide and Sneak and Mickey Saves the Day 3D Adventure, when you play as Minnie, her boyfriend Mickey becomes the one in distress and she has to go save him.

Now I'm not saying that Mickey is incapable of fighting, he is actually on par with his girlfriend! When they're together, they're unstoppable. And I'm planning on a drawing that illustrates of what I just described. So stay tuned for that.

That being said however... remember Minnie's words very wisely. And hopefully you understand what she meant. ^^
